COVID-19: Important Information for Our Policyholders

Indiana Farmers Insurance and your local agent’s office are essential businesses. We remain open and ready to respond to your insurance needs. Recent weeks and months have brought new challenges, and many of us have been forced to deal with new realities.

To give our policyholders time to adjust their lives and budgets, we suspended the cancellation of policies for non-payment of premium for 90 days beginning March 19, 2020. On June 18, 2020, that cancellation suspension period ended.

Also, we realize the driving habits of some Midwesterners changed. We reduced personal auto insurance rates to provide long-term relief for many of our Indiana and Illinois policyholders as policies renewed after May 31, 2020. In total, approximately $3M in savings will be passed along to our customers.
