We are currently looking for an experienced, proactive and highly motivated Product Manager to join our Research and Development Team. This position is responsible for the strategic development, enhancement and effectiveness of our insurance products for personal lines of business. The Product Manager researches, organizes and analyzes data to develop and champion product recommendations in accordance with the organization’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Leading appropriate research and analysis to support development of new products
  • Utilizing market and internal information to identify strategic opportunities or target markets leading to improved overall product performance and market position
  • Collaborating with numerous departments and stakeholders to validate research and conclusions and being able to effectively communicate any needed product changes
  • Guiding the development of recommendations for changes and enhancements to rates, rules, and forms to increase effectiveness and better support the organization’s overall goals
  • Evaluating and managing relationships with vendors who supply tools or information that support product performance
 
Qualifications and skills we are looking for include:
  • College degree required
  • CPCU, CIC &/or other insurance designations
  • Five years or more of property casualty insurance, product development, contract analysis and/or property insurance underwriting
  • Familiarity with standard industry policy forms and programs
  • In depth experience developing insurance contract language and filing forms
