Claims Representative II

We currently have an opening for a Casualty Claims Representative II to join our team.

Responsibilities in this job include but are not limited to:
  • Investigating, evaluating, and negotiating casualty claims arising from personal, commercial, and farm exposures
  • Communicating with policyholders, claimants, and agents by phone, in writing, and in person regarding coverage and liability decisions; responding promptly to customer questions; and issuing payments in a timely manner within your established authority level
  • Using compassionate communication and persuasive negotiation to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Working well with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Identifies and recommends referral of potentially fraudulent claims
  • Determining and establishing reserve requirements and adjusting these as necessary during the processing of the claim

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent length of work experience
  • One year of directly related claims or customer service experience
  • IL and/or OH jurisdiction experience, preferred
  • Bilingual, preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable motor vehicle record
