Agency Sales Representative


Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company, an A (Excellent) rated insurance carrier per A.M. Best, is seeking the newest member of our Sales Team. The successful candidate must have a commitment to delivering exemplary customer service, be eager to engage in a collaborative environment, be an effective communicator, as well as able to perform tasks with accuracy, and manage time effectively.   

This position develops sales and profitable growth through assigned agencies primarily through phone calls and digital/web technologies. This position works directly with assigned agencies to promote Indiana Farmers, develop sales plans and assist in implementation of those plans. This position trains agents on our products, processes, and technology. This position is an internal sales position that will work collaboratively with field marketing managers and underwriters to achieve the desired results from assigned agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred
  • API, CIC, or CPCU designation or working towards
  • 3 years of related experience, including knowledge of the agency business/technology and applicable regulations
  • Knowledge of Personal Lines products and rating technologies
  • Proven sales and marketing skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
